So the Oscar nominations came out this morning and when looking over the list of hopefuls there is an interesting connection between them, A LOT OF THEM HAVE PLAYED OR ARE SCHEDULED TO PLAY AT THE STATE. Ranging from the acting categories to the live action short film category The State has hosted them all. Just saying that The State has hosted these shows is not enough, so we're going to break down each movie that has shown at The State and what they are nominated for:Milk [coming in February]

As you can see The State holds a high standard for the films we choose to show to our audiences, and we will continue to show high caliber movies.
